An early key signing

Would really help I think.

Get someone in like O'Hara (am assuming most folk would be happy with that) as soon as we can announce it just to give an air of optimism to everyone. I dont know a single fan that isnt a little apprehensive about who we are gonna bring in / try to bring in.

O'Hara would certainly be a good start and add a bit of bite to the team.

A good set piece taker too.

Is he better than Guthrie? Both seem similar to me.....

O hara is fucking gash.

And plus we don't need centre midfielders, unless he's VERY creative.
Something o hara isn't.

We already have Nolan barton Guthrie n smith.
We don't need another average player in there

I seem to recall you calling Lovenkrands And Williamson gash.

You were well wrong there.

I would put o'hara above anyone in our current midfield, the amount of plaudits he has recieved in a struggling pompey team is unbelievable. He's the kind of young hungry player we should be going for

I would get rid of one of Nolan, Smith or Barton (there is an argument to keep each mind).

I would be happy for him to come here.

Either way, that wasnt the point I was making, I mean its important that we get someone in early to get the ball rolling and keep the optimism up before the doom mongering gets put into full swing.

i would sell either smith or barton to make way plus he can play right back..

But i would pull all the stops for perch for right back.

Wouldn't cost that much either,

Just because we have Nolan Smith and Barton doesnt mean we cant add to the squad. It'll be hard enough without injuries, and we'll need cover. Butt will be off so he'll need replacing, even though he's shite he still will need replacing.

I would be over the moon with a signing like O'Hara, would be interesting to see how many points he has won pompey this season with his goals and assists, reckon he will turn into the engine room of the midfield where most attacking play goes through for any team thats willing to give him a crack for a season or two

Personally I would love to see him ply his trade here. Him and Guthrie could turn into a decent pairing in a season or two when Nolan, Smith and co... aren't good enough.

As for Perch I haven't seen enough of him play to form any opinion on him
