RE: free transfer market

Mido (I think), Aliadiere, Jeffers. Can't name any others.
Aliadiere would probably be our best bet. Not saying he is any good but at least he has the experience. Just a short term contract until the end of the season.

RE: free transfer market

Benni McCarthy isnt in the West Ham squad, so they could release him?

I'd take him until the end of the season I guess, cant think of any others though. I wonder what Alex Mathie is doing these days?

I don't think that is even the biggest problem Mido would have with joining us haha

Antoine Sibierskis not attached to anyone? Big Grin

Just gotta face it that anyone whos out of contract at this stage of the season is usually shit, old or both

RE: free transfer market

Nope but still contracted to West Ham. Just out of the squad and has turned down a pay off to leave them as a free agent.

They'll have paid us a fee to take him, so we wont be able to recall him until the end of the season.

We are fucked really aren't we?!

RE: free transfer market

I would just play Kevin Nolan there honestly. At least he knows where the net is.

RE: free transfer market

We might have to do that anyway but I think we'd miss him in midfield.

Smith upfront is another option?

RE: free transfer market

true push nolan up front even if its just to hold the ball up

wont miss him in mid-field too much once ireland slots in

or when be arfa is back play him off the front man se what he does but i recon we wont see the best of arfa untill next season a broken leg is a lot to get over phycologicly

RE: free transfer market

Push Nolan further up the pitch, and the midfield with any combination of Barton, Tiote, Goslng, Ireland, Jonas, Ben Arfa (when back) will be more than enough

If you think Pardew would have the balls to play Nolan as a solo striker you're off your tree
