Did we see the real Shola today?

20 minute run out only admittedly. Caught offside more than once, misplaced passes, poor running, 1 header won, and generally romping around like a newborn Giraffe looking for it's mother. And yet, he does get goals when we need them......................the bastard :hissy::mad:

The word 'offside' was certainly heard more often on the cat's whisker after 75 minutes.

Shame that Ranger wasn't given a place on the bench and a run out once it was sown up. There again Lars Lagerbäck has probably put the pressure on and asked if he can have some match practice.[url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lars_Lagerb%C3%A4ck"]

He hasn't changed for years. He keeps getting the most ridiculous of goals - but they all count.

If Andy Cole scored 34 off his arse the history books would still say he scored 34 - they wouldn't say he was fecking useless and fumbled every shot into the net would they now?

Can't argue with that.

It was only a matter of time before a Shola basing thread came about just because he didn't score 17 hattricks when he came on.

Suppose the assist for Routledge means nothing.

No comment from anyone about Lovenkrands missing about 3 sitters?

I would hardly call leaving the ball for Routledge to take over as an assist tbh, but Lovenkrands missed 1 sitter, and the keeper saved well for the 2 headers.

ameobi isn't good enough for the premiership he has proved it, he is a good championship player but that's it, Carroll might be the same, but he hasn't had a prolonged run in the premiership to find out.

Bang on. Proved for 9 years that he`s not a Premiership footballer, even Stevie Wonder could see that.
Found his level now and if the club want to move on in the slightest they should flog him to a championship club where he`ll be able to do it.

He's a nice bloke by all accounts as opposed to a knob.
