I had wondered what was going on. He hasn't commentated for the past couple of games, and Anderson said he wished him well and hoped he would be back soon. At the time I wthought he was sick and not being well enough to commentate. Never expected this. I wonder if he is sick, and that's why he is stepping down?

I feel a bit under-qualified to comment, but I quite enjoyed what I heard from him over the past season and a half following the team. Broadcasters like Mick were my gateway into getting into sports and ultimately sports journalism.Wish him all the best!
