Watford finished rock bottom of the Premier LEague on 28 points the month that Ashley took over NUFC. It took them 8 years to get back into the PL.

They are now miles ahead of us in every department.

Our next opponents Bournemouth finished 19th in League One the month Ash;ley took over NUFC, narrowly avoiding relegation to the bottom tier of our league system.

They are now miles ahead of us in every department.

What a cunt Ashley is.

Attendance will be interesting for this, it was only about 300 above 50k for the Brighton game, people are voting with their feet already.

People can't even keep quiet for a minute either.

Clapping about people dieing in a tragedy is wrong, think about it.

Happened at Bournemouth home last season aswell.

It's supposed to be a minutes silence you idiots.

I don't see the harm in clapping, I really don't, which ever way it's done, it's a mark of respect and recognition.

Even with a poor squad, Rafa can grind the clean sheets out, 4 from 11 games, and Brighton scored from a corner that shouldn't have been.

0-0's and 1-0 wins will be what keeps us up.

RE: Watford (h)

Why were people clapping for a minutes silence? Weird.

Anyway, that was the only negative today.

We rode our luck in the first half.

The team stepped it up second half though and we got that bit of luck we needed and a vital 3 points to finally start our season.

The atmosphere today was good, fans making plenty of noise for most of game and in particular late in second half, when recognising the team needed the support to help them get the job done.

49,000 yes, but barely more than 1,200 or so away fans.

If it interests any of you who have already boycotted for some time, every single season ticket holder I spoke to today, both in the bar before the game and in the ground, had no intention of boycotting.

Admittedly a small % but no less than the few on here I would say.

I reckon the crowd v Wolves will be somewhere between 40-45,000 and if we get good results between now and then, expect 50,000+

Wolves will no doubt have already sold out their allocation.

So there’s only around 8,000 tickets over the 40,000 or so season ticket holders to sell and I’ll be surprised if many season ticket holders boycott.

My opinion, I may be wrong, but that’s my thoughts on it.

And yes we want Ashley to go before anyone starts.

He’s going nowhere without £350-£400 million on the table though - a one game boycott won’t bring that to the table.

RE: Watford (h)

You and Mac are a comedy double act, neither really support the club.

Today the fans were great, singing all game, all together and delighted we had won.

We know we’re not great, a long way off where we’d like to be and know we can be, but do you know what, we still get behind them.

It’s our team and they gave their all today, they have done most games to be honest, they are an honest bunch, not the best, but triers.

I think Matt Ritchie epitomises the team, not the most skilful, not particularly quick, probably a top championship player/mediocre premier league player, however what a grafter and he cares, he wants to win.

That’ll do for me at the minute, players giving their all and fans backing them.

Fuck Ashley, we can’t do anything about him, he’ll go when he gets his profit and not before.

In the meantime, I’ll follow my team, like thousands of others, if you and Mac don’t like it, who gives a flying fuck?

I support the club - you just look after yourself and think blind loyalty is a badge of honour

It's fuckin tragic what is being allowed to go on unchecked up there - absolutely fuckin tragic but you couldn't give a shite

That’s your opinion.

That’s something you’re entitled to.

However, it’s not my idea of what being a supporter is and I think you know you’re in the minority, much to your personal annoyance.
