RE: Burnley (a)

Apart from allowing their number 3 to cross whenever he felt like, we controlled much of the game and thoroughly deserved to win.

We’d have won easier if we had a striker who could regularly put the ball in the net and anticipate things like good strikers do.

Rondon isn’t the answer, however he’s the best we have.

Good three points.

And from my view, Rafa has started to use subs when needed, rather than let them sit on the bench and just let the game run away from us.

If you need anymore advice, Rafa - just shout. As a starter for ten though - get Perez out of that advanced starting role - he offers very little in the way of goals or chances created. Who is coaching the lad, Shola?

It was funny when the commentator kept saying "(other Burnley player) to Mee"

Can laugh at Ritchie's miss now - as we got all the points, otherwise he'd deserve a lot more stick.

Simply put, all of our forward players do not score anywhere near enough goals.

Perez should not be starting. Anyone who gets less than a dozen goals per season should not be one of a front two.

If ever there was a game where Ritchie should have been subbed it was this one - he had a mare at the back during the second half

In the Premier League if Joselu, Perez and Ritchie started every game - they wouldn't get about 15 goals between them.

Nowhere near enough.

I went down to Burnley - Cracking trip and the footy absolutely added to it.

I think given the strength we have at Centre half we really should be developing that system, though I agree Ritchie is limited wherever he plays at the moment.

Moving Kenedey back there is a waste.

If only Dummett had a bit more about him going forward, he would be a cracking full back come wing back.

Special mention to Ki - He had a cracking game and was a clear calming influence toward the end. What a signing he has been.

Yep, he's looked established when he's been in the side. Unsung Hero for me. And that's not a Korean name.

He has come from nowhere to being one of the first names on the team sheet.

Clear man of the match for me at Burnley.

Ki looks like one of those players who sets the rhythm of the team. Amazing vision so far. We'll really see his worth when he gets crowded out or hoofed up the ringpiece for the most of a match but he looks like he could put the most cynical bully on his arse. Kenedy was superb last season but hasn't dazzled too much this season. Probably because expectations have been high whenever he's been on the ball. I don't think I've ever seen any Newcastle manager manage to get three centre halfs to gel in the a single game, Rafa seems to have done it in two.
