Looks like the 87th minute walkout was more popular.

I think we've just found out that Diame, Ki and Shelvey in the same midfield doesn't work

Don't take part in protests, don't get behind the team, moan about substitutions, then leave early.

I lost faith with the majority of our home fans along time ago.

They absolutely deserve Ashley.

16 shots, 4 on target, majority of those were first half, and the majority of possession for a change..... saying that the 2nd half response was simiilar to the arsenal match, never looked like they fancied the fight and spam looked very determined, why ritchie was replaced by shitsu only fucking rafa knows. When you look at their spend to ours, these results should be the norm.

It highlights how well Benitez has done in the last 3 games.

Won't walk in late in protest against a shit owner but will leave early even after 3 wins.

Some support that.

Customers, not fans.

You'd think we would be used to the idea that nobody is interested in even attempting to force some kind of change but no, the fuckers continue to surprise me every fuckin time

The thing is today it was easy for them to contribute.....all they had to was have another pint in the pub or even stand downstairs on the concourse and then take their seats later than usual.....but no they couldn't even fucking manage that...

Got to be honest - it's got to the point where I can't like

There was an organised protest today and the turn out was piss poor - I bet more people missed the 3rd goal than missed the first one

Piss fuckin poor

I love Newcastle, the City, and generally the people you meet in it.

But the home support makes me sad, i hoped the majority wouldn't put up with this wanker in charge of the club, but they do, that in itself saddens me.

I thought the Geordie public were better than this.

The TV's were turned off for those watching the first 11 mins in the concourse.

Not that Ashley cares about protests and that.

People have quit this forum because they are sick of being preached to about going to the match. You're literally turning people away from your cause because you're alienating them. You're in danger of becoming seen as a bunch of rabid anti-fans. If you want to get your message across chasing people off forums and that is probably not the best method.

I don't care.

It's what i think and i will say it.

It's called opinion.

Also "chasing people off forums".

You on about?

Maybe if you took your heads out of your arses and had a look around you'd see who doesn't post any more.

How many posts in this thread discuss the actual match and how many slag off fans?

There could be loads of reasons why someone has stopped posting - you seem to know who has stopped because of being preached to

I'm asking you who you were referring to

Let's put this in a bit of perspective....

Been reading first hand reports this morning from fans who came in late yesterday - some were glared at, booed at, spat at and in some cases it was made difficult for them to take their seats

There is even a divide in those who go

The club is fucked and a bit of divided opinion on a message board is fuck all in the bigger picture

RE: West Ham (h)

I did tell the non match goers that the swell of opinion among the match going crowd was to back the team and boycotting would be very poorly backed.

However, what you are saying there is despicable if true.

The worst I saw was a few people arguing, didn’t see any of the allegations you raise.

Shocking if fellow Toon fans are reacting like that to guys who wish to protest in whatever way they choose.

Each to their own on that front, but abusing them is unacceptable.

The fans in the Gallowgate were singing for virtually all game, even when 2 down.

As for the 11th minute walk-in, looked like very few had taken part.

The comments by some are Ashley has won and we’re backing Ashley if we attend.

That simply is not true.

Firstly, it’s not a fight at all, what do we have to combat an owner who owns the club lock stock?

Season tickets to not renew and that’s about it.

Many would find it hard to give them up, as they simply wish to follow their team, something they love doing despite it all.

It’s an emotional attachment that’s hard to break, but nevertheless I can’t agree with abusing fans who choose to protest in some way.
