One of those games where no result would surprise me, they are alot better than us though, but we've the better manager.

Shelvey back in training and available tomorrow.

Dubravka

Yedlin Fernandez Schar Dummett

Ritchie Shelvey Diame Kenedy

Perez

Rondon

Bollocks.

Still I thought we'd lose, so I can't be too pissed off.

RE: Watford (a)

shame, thought we could have seen the game out, thought rondon had a good game and ritchie was outstanding, atsu worked hard but nothing ever seems to go right for him, he either trips over the ball or his cross is blocked or his boot comes off, he just looks so clumsy to me like.......but rafa knows best.

A substitution for the sake of it playing a big part in conceding

Well it did - Shelvey on for Hayden and it was Shelvey that didn't track back

Ok, Rondon wouldn't have scored if he didn't rest him on Wednesday then.

I’d have taken a point before kickoff, so not a bad result.

No - I'm saying that taking off a defensively minded midfielder who had settled into the game and putting Shelvey on played a part in us conceding

Is that not what happened?

Ritchie should have stopped the cross, guess if Rafa took him off they wouldn't have scored. Wink

Is it fuck an odd sub man..i don't care if you's think i'm too pro Rafa or what, Shelvey for Hayden was the obvious sub...do yee's want Hayden to play ahead of Shelvey against Man Utd?

At least while Shelvey is being slagged off, Perez can have a break...

Calm down. I’m just agreeing with Mac I thought it was a strange sub. I’m not anti Rafa
I simply agreed with Mac, no need for a tantrum.

Managers live a die by these kind of decisions

If Shelvey had come on and scored it would have been a great substitution - as it turned out he came on and didn't do the job that Hayden had been doing and the substitution played a direct part in us dropping two points

Infact I struggle to remember any of his substitutions having a positive impact on the games
