Fucking Jonah

I was at the Spurs match at Wembley on Saturday, thoroughly pissed off that I'd seen us lose again. So it got me thinking of the last time I actually saw us win a match live.

Bear in mind that I go to maybe 3/4 matches a season, all away, I still have to go back to 2012 when I last saw us win a fucking football match (v Chelsea that goal from Cisse)

Can any one beat that ?

Remember when we went top of the league under SBR winning 3-1 at Highbury.

That put end to an unbelievable run of something like 25/26 London away games without NUFC winning.

I’d been at them all!

RE: Fucking Jonah

I don’t think it’s insane to watch your team lose again and again as that would be render hundreds of thousands of fans of shite teams mad.

I love match days. But once in a fucking while I’d like to see us score more than someone else within a 95 minute period.

If I was superstitious, I’d be blaming me.

RE: Fucking Jonah

To be fair we drew a few during that run SmileSmile

Either way win, lose or draw, games and particularly away ones are not simply about the match.

The whole day out is an enjoyable one and occasionally the match lives up to it as well.

Bring on Monday, Molineux here we come Smile

RE: Fucking Jonah

I first started going to aways under Bobby and i remember hardly ever seeing us lose, usually win and alot were comfortable like Boro 4-1..Leeds 3-0..Bolton 4-0.

Those were the days.

Then Sourness came in and we always fucking lost.

Funnily enough, I was at Crystal Palace in 1997 and Highbury in 2001, but I can't remember going to any in between!

Possibly a couple of game against Wimbledon but I can't remember.

I am the same I rarely see us win the last game I saw us win was the 5-1 demolition of Spurs and we were already fucking relegated. Like you I mainly go to away games around London and they tend to end badly. I went to the 0-0 at Palace this season say no more.
