RE: NUFC v Wolves - Match Thread

Yep we fucked up big time keeper needed to punch the ball. How the fuck Wolves have taken 4 points off us is unreal we have been the better side in both games. 2 points dropped is the verdict. Oh well the roller coaster goes on and the players are off to Spain it’s a hard life being a Pro footballer.

Definite foul - falling over on a bloke like that could break his wrist.

It may well have been but it doesn’t change the outcome. We will have to dust ourselves down and hopefully win our next two home games. That’s enough for me on this Monday I thank you and good night!

I agree it was a foul on the keeper.

Dubravka is culpable two weeks in a row.

Forearm across face = foul.

But hey ho, we're Newcastle, we get fuck all from refs.

Nope. Despite Rafa’s protestations, I think that was just a case of weak goalkeeping. He had to be much stronger than that.

Disappointing because I have always rated Dubravka but, for me, he has cost us in the last two matches.

I hope he has a boot squared firmly up his arse off the coaches before the Huddersfield match.

I’ve watched their goal six times and each time I change my mind on my decision.

This one shows it best I reckon - not so much the arms over the shoulders but the knees in the back

I still think Dubravka should have tipped it over the bar or something but I don't think there is any question that contact between the two players caused him to fumble it

He has still saved us far more than cost us, he is still in credit, just not as much as before the last two games.

one game you mean...after seeing the photographic evidence of their goal last night i absolve dubs of any blame whatsoever, he went to catch the ball which he normally does very capably and would have done so again had boly not wrapped his arms around his face knocking him off balance

RE: NUFC v Wolves - Match Thread

plus its fucking ironic aswell, for years i've hated how over-protected keepers are, any contact with them whatsoever is normally whistled up in their favour...........except when it happens to ours. Rolleyes

Also, winning teams make subs in stoppage time nearly every game, as they know the refs never add a full 30 seconds on, except when it's us.
