very impressed with almirons first twenty minutes, looks a busy player, very alert, wants the ball all the time and likes to run with it....atsu has almirons pace but lacks his quick-thinking football brain.

Glad you’re back, Dumf!

Almiron’s gonna be good. Watched him win an MLS championship with Atlanta. He’s got legit skills. He can do a job for us.

Bit greedy. It riles me a bit when there is a simple pass for a goal and they just shoot and miss. But a top player we have. More of players like him are most welcome.

Great debut, at last someone who controls the ball quickly can dribble past players, can create stuff and can get shots on target...in a nutshell everything atsu CAN'T do..

But in this instance i agree with the sheetmetal workers son from gosforth, Longstaff was MOTM, simply outstanding

What a debut, that would have been an amazing goal.

I like how he just gets straight back up and on with it when kicked around aswell.

Ben Arfa with workrate seems about right.

It's a clear red, potentiall leg breaker, the surprise is that it was actually given.
