Ritchie doesn't like passing to Almiron like - so many attacks coming to nothing as Almiron pulls out wide to give Ritchie space which then ends up with an aimless ball into the box to nothing

Totally agree with this.

Ritchie was the same against Everton.

Was about to come and have a moan about the tactics - persevering with the two wingbacks who offered fuck all all day and then Ritchie goes and does that

Almiron looks like a spare part at times but that's not all down to him - they have to find a way of getting more out of him. I reckon he was intended to play instead of Perez initially but because of Perez's form they're trying to play him in a roll that isn't going to get the best out of him

a mention for atsu, the arrival of miggy has clearly given him a boot up the arse, still makes bad decisions but showed some nice first touches and dribbling skill which caused bournemouth problems late on.

So chuffed we scored so late on and it's the opposition team conceding in the last moment of the game.

Making the wrong decisions has always been his problem but he has been looking more the part this past few months..

Few months ??? Has he fuck !

He’s had a semi decent game or two. Other than that he’s been incredibly poor with his wasteful possession and appalling choices. I’ll take Miggy any day over Atsu.

Pipe down son.

My point is objecting to your ‘he’s played his part this last few months’.

I didn’t suggest you’d mentioned Miggy at all.

We see a lot more open in play and you can see players getting more ambitious

It puts fear emphasis on the 2 midfield players to protect the defence

But we can play some good football and somehow we have a decent core to our team

I only hope Benitez's persuaded to stick around

RE: V Bournemouth

We should have won the game overall. Ferndandez had a stinker but can be cut a little slack as usually plays well. We have a few average players who can be liabilities but we also have that little bit of attacking quality that a few other teams don't have.

Refereeing errors make big differences in a lot of games so just hoping it doesn't affect us too much and other clubs around us suffer from this.

It was so good to be a fan of a team who scores at the end when a goal behind. I'd have been gutted if the other was around so still buzzing about that. Cracking goal from a player who had a mare game.

The sooner we are safe the sooner we can prepare for next season.

In regards to sorting out who our manager will be. Benitez hinting on that securing Premiership survival one of the factors in staying.

I think we deserved a point at least as others have said I really enjoyed the fact that we scored so late usually that happens against us. Oh well a break now then Arsenal away on a Monday. We will not be expected to get anything from that game so might aswell just go out and give it a go.
