Aye, suprised me as well. The bloke on Sky said forest brought 4000 up. Surely thats not right. I thought the max away allocation was 2600 or thereabouts.

Weather was atrocious like and it was on live - think those two factors were to blame.

Although did surprise me slightly.

The atmosphere was shit aswell - until we scored.

Can't understand people - but like I have said several times before, this promotion is weird as there is hardly any buzz about it, apart from the kids who have never experienced it before.

It just feels strange, there is very little excitement, I think because people are expecting us to come straight back down.

I don't know maybe people will cheer up a bit now we are virtually there.

I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts - probably 10 games or so into next season.Wink

It wasn't so much that I was disapointed that only 45 thousand had turned up .....It just looked like there was closer to 50 thousand in the ground to me

There were large gaps I could see from the Leazes in the top of the Gallowgate. I'm sure vice versa but couldn't tell from where I was sitting.

Gaps in the Milburn as usual.

I was just disappointed for such an important game the atmosphere was flat.

Like Mac, I was sure that there wasn't 7,000 empty seats. That suprised me.

There were the usual gaps in the Milburn, but other than small smothers of empty seats I couldn't believe there were that many empty.

Not sure where you were sat, but from where I was in the Leazes I could see large areas of top tier of the Gallowgate sparsely populated.

Unless we sell out on Monday to watch us promoted?

And then sell out later in the season to see us win the league?

Gallowgate seemed more populated than normal around me.
