Now now you can`t slag Shola on here you`ll be classed as racist by a certain poster!Stir

He really is absolutely shit to be honest though. He`s got nothing.
Still he`ll get 2,422 people for his Testimonial though.
In his little own Brain he probably thinks he could hold it in the Nou camp and fill it!WTF

The Lads been here 9 years too long mate.
Still you get the odd fan stating - he`s banged in goals in Europe (against Onion Sellers & Chiropodists etc) and he`s got 50 goals. Fail to mention in ten years! Absolutley fucking woeful but his comments about himself over the last decade have been nothing short of embarressing. I wouldn`t be surprised when he eventually retires that he states he will manage he club one day and win the Champions League! Confused

all that matters this season is getting out of this league .......it was Shola that set us on our way and I have no doubt he could have a say at the business end of the season

we should get shot if we get promoted but he's good enough to help us at this level

In the programme for the Donny game, under the player profiles, for Lovenkrands it had that he's in "sizzling form" and for Carroll that he's a "fan favourite" and just basically making them sound like the best pairing in the Championship, then it came to Shola and all it said was "brother of former Donny striker Tomi" Big Grin

fair does mate......I just think it's madness to slate a bloke that scored 8 goals in 11 appearances

I don't think he's anybody's favourite but he's scored some important goals

Its not the 8 goals im use my judgement its him being here 10 years..

To be honest, and I don't want to knock Shola after he's scored and one and made one, but we noticed the difference when Carroll went off!

Forest just kept attacking because instead of us getting the ball out to Carroll to hold up, we got it to Shola who'd give away a foul Big Grin

Still, he's done the job and put in the effort, so 10/10 from me.

Off day to say the least!! Only in front of goal though, just didn't want to shoot, apart from the volley, thought he did bring the ball down and flick it on for Lovenkrands quite well at times.

Can't say I saw any of that from Shola and Forest were definitely on top in the second half until we scored.

I'm not saying it's all Shola's fault that Forest were playing better like.

Carroll was having a bit of an off day, but Forest did have their only real flurry in the game when Carroll went off.

I think it was more that our lads lost their heads for 5 or 10 minutes but that was all.

Shola always has goals in him at this level, he is just so frustrating at times then he pops up with a finish like that.

Still buzzing now like.

the 2005–06 season still with Rangers. He played an important role in Rangers' run to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, scoring four goals during the 2005–06 campaign. In the group stage, he opened the scoring in the 3–2 win against Porto, and with his goal in the 1–1 draw against Inter Milan he secured Rangers' progression to the knock-out round. In the round of 16, he scored in both the home and away game, though Rangers were eventually eliminated by Villarreal on the away goals rule
