Chris Hughton not pushing loan panic button

CHRIS Hughton does not expect to turn to the loan market this week, despite Newcastle United's looming defensive crisis.

The Magpies go into tomorrow’s game at Doncaster Rovers without three injured central defenders after Fitz Hall became the latest casualty at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

Football League clubs have until Thursday to make emergency loan signings but with Mike Williamson close to returning, Hughton is unlikely to add further to his squad this season.

Hall, himself on loan from Queens Park Rangers, injured his hamstring chasing Cole Skuse to Paul Hartley’s long ball in Saturday’s thrilling 2-2 draw at Bristol City.

Fellow centre-back Steven Taylor is around a month from returning from a knee injury, while Williamson recently broke a bone in his hand training at home. Hall will not feature at the Keepmoat Stadium tomorrow.

His place will instead be taken by Hungarian Tamas Kadar, who turned 20 eight days ago.

Big game if colo or kadar go off injured on tuesday touch bloody wood...

Enrique too!!

Kadar is the backup left back now as well.

I guess Simpson or Taylor can go there if need be mind.

I would have O'Brien on standby till Thursday just in case something happens tomorrow night.

Pancrate's filled in at RB too so I think there's a bit of flexibility there
