Going back to St James' Park

My son has been begging for tickets for his birthday so as a one off I have bought tickets to the Blackpool and Ipswich games. Also going to try and get tickets for QPR but that might prove difficult now I ditched the season ticket.

Just because we arent spineless like you NE1 doesnt mean we havent supported the lads week in week out any less than you.

Having a Season Ticket doesnt give you superfan status.

Probably not mate, but it puts me on a healthy level way above your fickle glory support.

Exactly mate, a few of us on here have been getting pelters all season for going and supporting the team. No the fickle few want to drift back to enjoy the premier league again.

Glory sums it up.

Some of you superfans want to stay in the Championship.

You couldnt fuckin mek it up man.

Aye, I'll probably attend the last few home games, see the lads win a few and get promoted.

Cos next season will be as depressing as the last time we graced the Premier League. If you think MA will put his hand in his pocket and spend cash and we'll finish in a European spot then think again, if we finish 17th or above it will be a minor fuckin miracle.

Wait til the transfer window opens and the final date for ST's has disappeared over the horizon and MA tells you the clubs up for sale again.

What am I on about you'll never learn!!

what makes you think you understand the situation any better than anyone else?

I'm fully aware of what Ashley is capable off without the likes of you telling me

Just let me get this right though.....at the start of the season you weren't bothered about supporting the team because your principles wouldn't let you put any more money into Ashley's coffers ??......fair enough.....

But with the chance of a bit of a celebration on the cards., you're now willing to put all your principles behind you and 'thank' the team that you couldn't give a shit about at the start of the season

there's a place for fans like you who just like to pick and choose where they sit to watch something only when it suites them........It's called the fuckin Odeon......I'm sure if you grovel to someone you'll be able to get free seats for there as well...we can't have you giving up all of your principles can we?

Going back to St James' Park

The only reason I am going back is for my son and it is a one off for his birthday. I have no plans to buy a season ticket.

Can I also say I have been going to games on a regular basis since the 1970s and have seen many highs and lows. I was even at that fucking Hereford game!

My reasons for ditching the season ticket and my principles remain the same and I have no plans to attend home games in the premiership

As always I reckon the more the merrier, whatever the reasons.

The principle ditching is quite funny mind...

Might start off with big gates, depending on how we are doing, will see them remain or drop off apart from when the big boys like Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea are in town.
