On target and getting some match fitness for reserves last night.

Drew 3-3 with Man United.

Hopefully that'll be enough to get Guthrie in the side at the weekend.

To be honest I think Guthrie and the likes of Ryan Taylor will do great for us if we go down but I don't see either as anything but squad players in the premiership

I reckon Guthrie can do a job in PL.

Don't think Ryan Taylor could. Especially on the wing. Better off at RB, but rather play Beye or Stephen Taylor there.

Well there was a interview with R.Taylor and he said he wants to play right back and doesnt like playing on the wing or in the middle..

so there's a replacement for Beye come AUG...

I think Guthrie will be quite a good player, he should start every time ahead of Butt, R Taylor on the other hand is hopeless.

Can anyone tell me why they won't start Gutierrez?

Aye, his chance has surely gone now that Owen and Oba are fit. Best time to use him was when we had Shola and Carroll fit.

I wonder if wise has ordered them not to play xisco because ashley has only seen him on youtube banging in the goals and thinks he's like torres and was well worth fucking kk off and ripping the club to bits for and ashley will be upset he's nowt like the player wise described when he got him to spend 6m?
