McShola?

Taken from .com about Scotland's bid to recruit the Fenham Pele;

=========================================

Having so far failed in his quest to convince Andy Carroll to play for Scotland, Craig Levein has now disclosed that fellow Magpie Shola Ameobi was also on his radar:

"The way I understand it, the home associations have an agreement -I'll tell you how I know. I tried to get Shola Ameobi at Newcastle a while back because he has not played for England but has lived in the UK and has a British passport, so I thought he might be able to play for Scotland. But we had changed the rules."

"I just used Ameobi as an example because he was somebody who had a British passport but it fell down because he didn't have the educational qualification."

As well as being a triangular footed buffoon, he's also as thick as mince. Excellent.

Btw, who keeps renewing his contracts ? It must be someone who rates him :/

TAB, i've been trying to count the managers he's 'worked' for, all, apart from KK who have selected him as soon as he's available. Up to now i've got, since his 1st team debut in 2000 just missing the Gullit term:

Sir Bob
Soumess
Roeder
Allerdyce (with reservations)
Keegan (with reservations)
JFK
Shearer
Hughton

Didn't get much match time with Pulis at Stoke.

U21s

Peter Taylor
Monkeyheed
Howard Wilkinson
David Platt

I get that to be 13 managers of varying repute who see something we don't. Confused
