RE: Well Done NUFC.

I am neither underwhelmed or overwhelmed.

I know nothing of our defensive midfielder or young Arfa other than on youtube, so after about 10 games, I hope I am overwhelmedSmile

I don't understand how we can't attract players, and the likes of Stoke and Birmingham can. Puzzles me.

Yes, but the clubs I mentioned don't have loads of money, surely.

Stoke had better not get relegated because i can see them going to the wall with all the money they have spent. Well the wages they will be paying Gudjohnsen/Pennant wages wont come cheap.

Gudjohnsen/Pennant for a start. yes i know Gudjohnsen is getting on but he is still a canny player but i reckon his wages will be a canny amount for a club the size of Stoke to be paying.

But i still reckon Stoke had to pay over the odds in wages to these players a bit like us when we signed owen.

Its not a risk when its only a loan deal though.

Is Pennant on loan or have they bought him outright?

He either wants billions in wages or fucked beyond recognition.

Kerrea Gilbert could be a canny alternative to those two?

Young, room for improvement, will be content enough to sit on the bench, was at Arsenal so does have some talent, even if he didn't quite make it.

And he was in trouble with the law, so he'll fit in fine with our pack of ex- and soon-to-be cons.

He cannot be that good Wenger got shot of him. If you wiki his name he has been loaned out for most of his time at arsenal. 5 years and Wenger must not have seen anything in his game to suggest he would make it.

Drunk and disorderly, I think. It was a few years ago.

Wenger doesn't really play wingers though, don't think Arse have used one since Overmars. Edit: appreciate he's a right back, not a winger. My bad. As you were. Talk amongst yourselves.

Also, we can sign out of contract bods at any time. Must be a few decent picks there i'd have thought.

Are we allowed players in on loan after the transfer window? If we are there must be a few players we could bring in who have not made the "25", I mean if players like Woodgate are not in then there must be more?

RE: Well Done NUFC.

There's still two places available in our squad, which could be given to free agents, or left free until January.

I wonder if that Boukhelifa (or whoever it was) will sign.

Plays, or rather played, midfield for Lens.

Another winger, and I'd guess we were trialling him in case the Ben Arfa deal fell through. I'd imagine with him here, we've dropped our interest in Boukhelifa (or whatever his name actually is).
