New signing?

Another French whiz kid apparently that Man U were after. Allegedly Yven Moyo has signed a 4 year deal. Only read it on newsnow but he apparently played for reserves. Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links.

RE: New signing?

Aye I saw that in passing at lunch time and forgot to have another look at it.

How can that be allowed then? Or can you not sign a pro contract in France until you are 18 or something? I think thats how we nabbed Zoggs and it ended up at a tribunal, or am I making this up as I go along?

Either way Ben Arfa can now have another mate.

I can't sus out why Guti is not played on the right - especially as he is right footed ffs! He made 2 good chances on Sunday - like all wingers he blows hot and cold but he has more to offer than Routledge, who I've given up seeing a cross from.

Guti has played on the right before but i think on the left is his best cause he works well with enrique going up and down the wings..

RE: New signing?

I heard he's a canny fast player and can put in good crosses..

Maybe move Arfa into Routledge place.. and play him and let guti come on later.

RE: New signing?

I doubt we will see much of him at first team level for a while to be honest.

Likewise. He's 18, no one has heard of him. Likely to be another one of those for the future we can sell on and make a profit from.

This is an argument to upgrade at right back and not a reason to keep Guti on the left!

RE: New signing?

I think Colorado might actually be English, not a yank. He has been talking some sense recently, and his memorable insult to a bindipper is compelling evidence.

Reports suggest that Manchester United are interested in Sochaux youngster Yven Moyo.

United representatives have been to watch the 16-year-old Frenchman five times and have reportedly been impressed with his performances for Sochaux's youth team.

Moyo has not yet made his top-flight debut, but the left-footed attacker is already being lauded as the most promising French player of his generation

According to the under-16 international's representatives, United are preparing a bid, which would recieve a warm welcome as Moyo seeks a long-term deal

Sir Alex Ferguson has been on a mission to aquire promising young players for the future recently. Moyo's move would follow the capture of Brazilian full backs Rafael and Fabio da Silva last year and Ritchie De Laet from Stoke last week.
