RE: Red bin dippers
Torres looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but there, face like an arse and a 'get me the fuck out of here' attitude. Very poor team, i'm happy to say. The idea that they're suddenley going to flick a switch and start piling up the league because they have a new owner, is fanciful to say the least. In fact, impossible hopefully.

RE: Red bin dippers
Great stuff. I fucking loathe that bunch.
There was a Liverpool mouthpiece on Radio Four the other day going on about Hicks and Gillette and the court case, and the little cunt had the impudence to demand that the government start taking action about unsuitable owners, and should step in and warn the Premier League executive body blah de blah de blah..
Where were your principles when you were lifting the European cup or chasing Man Utd you thick cunt? Now it's all gone hysterically tits up they expect the government to do something. The government for fucks sake!
I hope and pray they go down. It would be like football pornography.

Stan Collymore still a prick, Hodgson needs to go and the only man who can do the job is Martin O'Neill, but with a bucketful of cash. Why not give Hodgson the cash? I'm under the impression these new yanks don't have that much cash anyways.

I doubt they have a pot to piss in with regard to what the best fans in the known Universe will expect out of him. I think his personal fortune is a "mere" £600 million. He'd be nuts to sink a penny of his own cash into that sack of shite. Personally I think he'll do an Ashley, trim back the costs and try and flog it on for a profit. Hopefully he'll fuck it up completely though. The signs are promising.

He`ll have even less if Gillett & Hicks successfully sue him!
Besides, from what I`ve watched today £100M cash transfer kitty won`t improve them much!

Ah yes, I forgot about that. A billion pound lawsuit was the figure I heard or read somewhere. I wonder how they'll repay that if it comes off? £20 up front and the rest of the balance in coal?

This is Liverpool's worst start to the season since the last time they were relegated. The omens are there, even Stan has said they're too good to go down

RE: Red bin dippers
I was flicking between the Merseyside derby and the Dundee Utd v Celtic game.
Maybe it's because it's a derby or maybe it's because both teams are more evenly matched, but the quality of play in the Everton v Liverpool game was far worse than that in the SPL game.
Couldn't believe it.
Last time I watched SPL it was shite, but Celtic (Stokes and Samaras!!!) were playing some beautiful football, and to be fair, Dundee Utd weren't too bad either.

Yes. I was shocked. Stokes was class, deserved a goal. Samaras was waltzing through the defence, and wasn't afraid to get stuck in either, which I'd have never imagined having watched him at City. He seemed a lazy cunt for them.

When I've seen him for Celtic he looked laughable, and Stokes was crap for the mackems.
I might get back into this Scottish footy malarky.

RE: Red bin dippers
Stokes was shocking for Sunderland in the PL, but in the Championship he was canny good, and that's about level with the SPL, so he's pissing this league.
As is Samaras. Celtic and Rangers both played 8 won 8. I'm not trying to say the SPL is better than the EPL, as that would be daft, it was just that game between Celtic and Dundee was much better to watch in terms of excitement and quality.

I was watching that scot game (mostly wanted to see if forster was any good)
And the quality was very good. Both teams were very attacking and Celtics RB was practically playing right wing all game
Forster didn't do anything amazing

Gary Hooper is playing well...but he's playing in the SPL.
Kris Boyd scored for fun in that league and can't score for shit at Boro. 3 in 12 or something.

Yeah he did bit I've seen him finish well and store some crackers. Celtic signed him for something like 2.5m well worth the risk
