Tiote's Red Card

Better be fucking rescinded.

That was an excellent tackle and if he's missing for the derby because of that then it's a joke.

Hell of a tackle.

Well last time I remember a tackle as good as that being punished, it was Habib Beye's against City, and we succesfully appealed against that one.

RE: Tiote's Red Card

Was a class tackle.

Could understand if he'd gone over the ball but he didn't.

He left the ground but wasn't in the air upon contact - that is if any contact was actually made.

It's not that the red card would've had any effect on the result today, but it will be a massive miss for us next week.

RE: Tiote's Red Card

We;ll on the replay it looked like it was unnecessary as he could easily have won the ball with a tackle, so why the hell did he go in like Mr Tickle's cousin?

It was a stupid tackle, which may not have been malicious but it was reckless.

Look at it again, He;s been brilliant for us and I really like the bloke but he deserved that. No excuse, mainly because it was so unnecessary

RE: Tiote's Red Card

I agree with that, it was stupid.

But that doesn't mean it was worthy of a red card.

I feel like a High Court judge here, but who is Mr Tickle? Do you mean, like, the Mr Men one?

You've lost me. Totally lost me. I feel humiliated and out of the loop on this one.

I've always assumed that in the Tickle family someone would have uncontrollable legs.

RE: Tiote's Red Card

Hunty I see where you're coming from that he runs the risk of getting sent off simply for flying in, it's risky as the ref can easilly get it wrong.

But what's the point in having an appeals procedure if you can't look at the replay of the tackle, see that it was fair, and rescind the red card.

He got the ball, the timing was perfect, and yes studs were showing but they weren't even aimed at the Stevenage player...he won the ball with his heel.

It was a perfect tackle.

RE: Tiote's Red Card

I honestly don't see how.

I can see why the ref might have thought it was, but upon seeing a replay, he should realise it wasa good tackle and change his mind.

RE: Tiote's Red Card

Just seen it on the news, a ridiculous tackle, anyone who has played football to even the lowest level knows you don't go in for a tackle like that unless you are looking to hurt the opposing player. Having said that, i hope it gets rescinded.
