RE: Barton

aye Sal....having a go at the manager is a sure fire way to get in his good books

wrong decisions, no matter how slight will blight Barton's career (life)..............just do the talking on the pitch and let everything take care of it's self.........It's like everything else should just be forgotten cos he's had a half decent start to a season for the first time in 4 years

He's scored less goals but his overall influence has been better in my opinion.

Aye, I know goals win games but I think Bartons game and restraint have massively influenced us this season! Not taking nowt away from Nobby though.

Not saying he's perfect, but I think he is trying to sort himself out.
12 months earlier he would have had his ear lobe stuck between his teeth.

RE: Barton

so you honestly think a player like Barton who can only cross a ball to a 6 foot 3 striker is better than a midfielder who scores 9 goals and does a good honest job all over the park?

RE: Barton

Yes Nolan might have scored, but Barton works his balls off more than Nolan and makes more chances for other people to score, ie Nolan.

RE: Barton

hehe...he dosn't though

Nolan scored 18 goals or something last season and was dismissed as a fat lazy cunt that offers nothing when he's not scoring.....he's scored more goals than Bent and is on the same tally as Drogba and still doesn't get the same recognition as a bloke who is playing out of position because Tiote has come in and shown him how to play that role
