proud of that today

possiby more so than the hammerings weve dished out this season.
committed players, great play by barton. Barton cleaned Lampard.
i think Jose Enrique showed why hes the best Left Back in this league. Absolutely cleaned everyone today. We must keep him at all costs.

We need pace and creativity up front, so much so its scary. No loser lower league players, lets spend the cash on a few top players £10m-£20m. And we can make a great attempt at the top 6.
Today we had basically no strikers on the pitch, and no nolan or Tiote. Just shows what we can do.

Great play from young ferguson as well, looks decent on the wing.

Would have loved to see Ben Arfa on that pitch today, running at their back line.

RE: proud of that today

You have your auto bias mode on. We all have had it on at some stage.
The same way you didnt see much good about Carroll for a while.
Barton was basically on his own in the middle against Lampard and McEachran/Ramires (they seemed to alternate)
And Barton cleaned them, what did they do all game? Nowt.
Barton was breaking up play and threading balls up front to shola who refused to move all game.
Barton was/is immense.

Barton did alright, nothing to write home about did the job that was asked of him

my MOTM was Colo, kept Torres quiet all match and did well when up against Drogba/Anelka after a shaky couple of minutes, this was the kind of performance we've been waiting for out of him for a few games now and he duly delivered

Colo has to be up there with Tiote for our player of the year, he's been solid all year and is proving his worth now.

Coloccini was at fault for their goal, bullied out of it by Ivanovic... for all the nice work he does, he gets bullied a bit.

Enrique man of the match, Barton and Steven Taylor played well.

To be fair Ryan Taylor had a canny game aswell, and Jonas. Well, it was a good team effort. or something.

I think you all want Colo to ---- your Mrs, he has stuffed up to games in a row now. I never feel confident ,

Best player today was not Barton either, he drifted in and out but was influencial so he migh get pat the post. Ferguson did well, and Enrique, Lovenkrands and Guti give effort, but no stand out mom for me.
