Farnando Torres

Absolute garbage

I couldnt work out if our lot were singing "Your just a shite Ameobi" or the slightly more racist "Your just a white Ameobi"

Either way they were spot on

Torres will come good, he`s a million times the player Ameobi is. He`s been shit for a short period, Ameobi has been shit for a decade.

Exactly. That Torres just isn't consistent enough for the Prem.

Oh...there's some more grief for Shola despite scoring more goals this season than Torres.

I think....

He'll come good, he will always score goals but with the amount of pressure on him at the minute its going to be hard.

He'll finally get a break at the end of this season and then if he gets a good pre-season watch him bang them in next season.

What he says. Form is temporary, class is permanent!

Shola's only consistency in 10 years has been his shite-ness.

RE: Farnando Torres

shola is annoying as fuck. has the ability just forgets to apply it consistently.

saying that he's scored some crucial goals for us and is a decent squad player IMO - not someone to pin our hopes on.....

You could argue that Torres' one good season was a flash in the pan. He's been shit ever since.

RE: Farnando Torres

Torres could play the rest of his career like he is now and people would still say it's only a matter of time!

Form is temporary, class is permanent, to a degree but if you are out of form for two seasons then you aren't class!

Consistency is what makes GREAT players... Shearer, Scholes, Xavi, Messi.....

I agree with Steve, lots of people have had one good season... James Beattie, Andy Johnson.... etc, they soon got found out.

Your joking, a club has just spent £50m on him do you think a club would do that on a player who is shit.

But he isnt shit man thats the reason why they have spent that much money on him. If you think Torres is shit i fear for the rest of your life supporting NUFC, because unless we are taken over by someone who is mega mega rich you will never ever see a player like Torres at the club.

RE: Farnando Torres

How many games has he had for Chelsea wasnt he not fully fit when he signed from the dippers. Lets see how he does next season. No he isnt worth £50m but then i dont think any player is worth daft money like that. Regarding Javier Hernandez well im sure his value has sky rocketed hence why his contract i think is going to be doubled by manure. BUT manure took a risk on him he could have been shite but as it turns out the kid is class.

RE: Farnando Torres

aye that's another excuse apparently he hasn't been fit for about 4 years.... wants to get on a new training regime i think!... honest mate have you not watched him play recently.. he is playing like a pub player... even when people are out of form they aren't as bad as what he is!

He is one of these players who can do nothing wrong in some peoples eyes because the media will just keep telling everyone he is class no matter how bad he is, too many people don't have their own opinion and take whatever the media say as fact (i'm not saying this is you btw) but it is obvious that loads of people do... you go to the pub and loads of people just say the same thing as what the media have said or "expert" pundits such as Jamie Redknapp who once said Obafemi Martins could be as good as Shearer.

RE: Farnando Torres

Torres had an amazing start to his liverpool career but since his injury he's struggled to find that form. It seem's to of taken half a yard of pace from him. He hasn't looked electric since. 50m was too much for him. But if thats what they rate him as. Personally i'd rather Drogba and anelka. Both on form of course and I really think Drogba has been wasted there this season he's awesome i'd play him as often as I could.
