RE: The new kit

It looked a bit of under armorish. Not bad but a couple of more white bits, and it would have looked better.

all clubs have to add something to the strips every season, or else no fucker would bother buying another top again if the cunt stayed the same,..removing some stripes is annoying like i say it looked quite sexy on the players yesterday, which i`m sure will increase the sales of the shirt.

i wont be buying another top until i become too fuckin obese to fit in my old one

RE: The new kit

vertical stripes always excagerate a fat beer barrel,..i have some t-shirts with horizontal stripes on the front, especially a nice green coloured one,..and they don`t half take the weight off you like

That's exactly what I thought - popped into JJB on Fishergate the other day to check it out for myself. At least that Asics kit looked good - remember the NUFC shop line about clicks in that shirt? "It's a fashion garment - you're not meant to play football in it!!"

However, this latest thing is a horrible kit - looks terrible (ffs those "stripes"); cheap tatty material with usual rip-off patch to pay for a number. probs cost Puma £1.50 per unit to source materials, stitch it and ship it back from the phillipines from whence it was put together by some street urchin.

If JJB in Preston can start selling it at £15.00 off RRP - they must think its cack too. Out a day - already in a sale.

Horrible, horrible, horrible kit.

RE: The new kit

How much was it there then? What is the RRP of a football shirt nowadays anyway? £50? £35?

I only ever buy them when they are in the sale, but I'm sticking to my guns with this shirt.

It'll be the first home shirt I haven't had since I was about 6/7!

RE: The new kit

I can see the avant garde liking it, and I can see why they'd like it. But I vote "blech." I'm going to by a throw back shirt...one with a collar and the string ties from way back.
