RE: El Clasico predictions

I hate all the hype around Barcelona. I find their style stultifying and dull. Its like watching a big game of 5 aside. passy passy passy and hope Messi dribbles it into the net. Yawn. Couldnt give a fuck what anyone thinks, they bore the arse off me. Give me Brazil 82 anyday.

I hope Real Madrid fuck them. Hard.

oh Im sure it appeals to a lot of people, but I just dont find its football for me. one paced, predictable tappy lappy. I like a good bit of wing play and a towering header, a long through ball to a pacey striker. I enjoyed Ba's two goals today more than anything Barcelona will do tonight.

I think in my time my favourite sides to watch were Holland and Argentina 78, Brazil 82 and for a brief period in the early 2000's Real Madrid were joyous.

This ticky tacky or whatever they call it just doesnt float my boat. Same thing every game. It will be a sad day if the powers that be keep tinkering with the laws so that this is the only way to play football.

I'll give it a miss. Barnsley 2-3 Ipswich is a cracker. Brilliant header from Ipswich. Blood and snot. Fucking hell - Chopra just scored a beauty!

Barca to nick it 6 - 4 on cards, and 3-2 in goals.

It isn't a case of either\or though Lip, both games have their merits, as long as it doesn't encompass Stoke's neanderthal humpings.

oh god yes.

the thing is, I actually like heading and muscle as well as passing. The problem with Barca is its just passing. I never liked playing 5 a side, so I dont like watching it.

Madrid to take it 3-2 i reckon!

And Lip i just dont get where you are coming from? Barca are the best at the world at keeping possesion of the ball which is basically the most important thing in a game so to say it is not GREAT football, never mind football is beyond me.

You also state it is predictable but surely if it was teams would be able to come up with a plan to stop them which very rarely happens!

Boring perhaps but very questionable?

The fact that they can do that 'tappy lappy' stuff for long periods shows there class!

I really hope so. And I hope the winner is a header from Ronaldo. I believe Barcelona think they can play with dwarves as centre halves....ponces.

nope. its boring.

and more importantly if we are not careful the whole of football will decide this is how the game should be played - one big gay 5 a side match with no tackling or headers. I sincerely hope not.

football how it is meant to be - check out Terry Hibbitt shaking players hands after the free kick at the end. I was at that game - 4-2 v QPR. Happy days.

I only watched the last half hour. The most exciting part of that was when I went out to put the dog to bed.

Barca took control of the game, short passing and real madrid couldn't get anywhere near them, hehe.

Just a better team.
