Krul wants to stay for a long time

Before V starts frantically searching for some shite on Twitter:

Quote:"I want to stay at this club for a long, long time and, hopefully, because I am still only 23, I can do that.

Best keeper in the league at the moment by a country mile - this is very pleasing!

It is indeed.

It will somehow be twisted that he's in the shop window now. They'll be concocting some stuff now in their hovels.

Carroll wanted to stay here for life

Don't understand why people hang on the every word footballers say.

I disagree, i've seen Joe Hart flap at a cross many a time this season. Fantastic shot stopper though!

Krul is definitely up there with the best in the league. He's been in brilliant form for us so far this season, long may it last.

RE: Krul wants to stay for a long time

Not sure what your point is. At that time he looked rough around the edges. However in that time he has matured into a very good goalkeeper.

Everyone has said that. I'm big enough to admit when I may have been wrong. Still got a lot to learn but looks smashing now.

If only you could do the same!

I have to admit that my first thought on reading a footballer pledging undying loyalty, is that his agent is already working on a deal and a get-out excuse when it's concluded.

They'll all be at it regardless.

Still nice to read that they are happy where they are rather than angling for a move.

Yep. Like the rest of us you have changed your view accordingly. Really easy to do innit if warranted.
