RE: Rangers...

The end of Scottish teams as any semblance of a European force. The league will be a one horse race and then no one will want to play for either Rangers or Celtic

RE: Rangers...

Quite sad how ScottIsh football has slowly died. When I was a kid there were more top class Scots players than English ones. That is one country that needs to address grass roots coaching. England just as bad but we have the cash to plug gap with foreign players.

They may still find a buyer, no doubt Celtic will lose a load of players as there will be no competition at all in the league now, anyone we can poach of them?

On that note what happened to Bobo Balde, thought he was quality every time i watched him.

It was always a joke league anyway, take away cellick and Rangers and there's more people go to lighthouse canteens than their league games.

cant be many leagues where everyone knows whos going to win every year.

Thing is, if Rangers can go under there could be English sides do the same. If we'd still had Freddie....

How the fuck were they allowed to run up a 49m tax debt? Just been on talkshite that they want to pay 10p for every pound they owe. Imagine if ordinary working people tried that, they fine those that put in self assessment 1 day late.

RE: Rangers...

They were paying their players using offshore accounts and tax dodgers, which were quite common amongst the rich

HMRC got into them and they are going to win the case hence the action

Apparently they're threatening to place the club in administration if HMRC don't play ball, and they won't

Which is a bit dangerous as HMRC risk getting nowt if Rangers get wound up.

That nice chap Whyte will make an offer to HMRC which they'll have to accept.

I should add that Craig Whyte is the beneficiary of of charges over all Rangers assets, so debts owed to him get settled first. As he's the beneficiary of all proceeds of sale of Rangers in a liquidation, HMRC get bugger all.

Aren't all the top leagues two horse races most years, if not one horses?

Portugal, Spain, England, Italy, Germany

Might be wrong but bet they haven't had much more than 2 or 3 teams win their leagues in last 15 years.

true but to be fair to English Prem LFC won Euro Cup, Arsenal made final in recent years, and FA Cup Final occasionally has a wild card like Pompey, Cardiff etc. so strength in depth compared to Scotland.
