No doubt King Carr will be able to find them as well!

RE: Another Day

Song is a cracking player like.

Essien is also far better and has a good few years in him yet.

Darren Fletcher has a lot more to his game.

Man City have a few in that role.

Parker is probably on par with him.

Fellaini? Maybe not.

Tiote is a top player, but he is a top player in what should be the easiest role in the team. Its no coincidence that 'enforcers' are normally the least technically talented players in teams, in fact a lot of them are just cloggers.

I would love Tiote to stay, but a bid of £20mil+ would have to be regarded as good business for the club, the player and whichever club he went to.

RE: Another Day

He's our most important player.
Keane for man Utd wasn't the most talented. But who cares.
His role and what he brings is priceless.
A must keep.

RE: Another Day

I would far rather he stayed, but if someone is going to offer daft money then he will have to go.

I would be more concerned had we peddled Colo.

RE: Another Day

I think this season, he has been in and out of form for all kinds of reasons and as a result has never really got going.

Colo is our most important player at the moment, without him our defence would be totally shit.

Didnt we have this exact argument a couple of weeks ago and people couldnt agree, well if i remember rightly it was only yourself that thought Tiote was our best. Which is fine because footy is all about opinions!

one trick pony, poor distrubution, poor goalscoring record, turns into trouble fucking about doing silly turns to often
there will be loads of african players out there that can do the things he does that we could get for £4-5mill
he is not worth anything near £20mill and i would snap chelseas(or any other club daft enough to pay it) hands off

RE: Another Day

If there are lots of players doing what he does for £4m, why;

A) gave him a 6 year deal

B) why are clubs linked with 20 million bids. If similar players cost £4m

RE: Another Day

tiote at the moment is our rock and at the moment we miss him when he's out injured but that all comes down too at this moment in time we dont have a squad player who can do his job and its that simple

thats why at this moment he is worth 20 million
if we had two players of the similer ilke each doing the job as good as the other (the same as tiote) both players would be valued at around 5 mill and we'd all be saying well we can afford to let one go.

RE: Another Day

I think statistically Tiote is vital to our chances of winning;

With: 7 wins, 7 draws and 2 losses with
Without: 5 wins, 1 draw and 5 losses without”

We lose almost half our games he doesn't play in.
And we lose only 12.5% of games he plays in.

One of those is champions league form.
The other is relegation form.

Some fans amaze me sometimes.

RE: Another Day

Tiote is neither our best or most important player.

He is one of our most important but not the most important. I'd say Ba, Krul and probably Collo are far more important.

I don't want to see him leave but if a bid comes in for silly money and we have a suitable replacement lined up then I'd go for it. Regardless of what the stats say.

yes again v your being blinker'd and in fairness you are also being unfair by throwing other people's opinions away when they dont match yours AGAIN.

i agree with your above statement there's no doubting that what im saying is what if we had two tiote's in the squad?

But that is the case for any player.
If we got offered silly money for Krul Colo or Ba and have a suitable replacement we should take it?

RE: Another Day

I wanted to keep Carroll, but had to accept the dipper money would never be repeated, I can't use a different arguement for Tiote. For me he forms a vital part of the team, he tends to inspire confidence in those around him, knowing he's there to pick up the pieces. He seems to have reigned his neck in discipline wise, and needs an injury free run now.
This is modern football though, and 20 odd mil is an offer most wouldn't turn down, although spurts resisited chelski for Modric and are reaping the dividends. I wish dekka would shut the fuck up though, he's like Del Boy at the market shouting his wares, when he should be telling all and sundry to fuck off as he's not for sale.
