Ranger gone . . . .
Newcastle striker Nile Ranger has completed his loan move to League One side Sheffield Wednesday, until the end of the season.
The 20-year old, who spent time on loan with Barnsley in Yorkshire earlier in the season, is set to return to the county once again.
The move comes a day after Ranger was handed six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £135 in costs after admitting to a drunk & disorderly charge.
It was the latest twist in the youngster’s career which has been marred by incidents off the pitch.
Earlier this month, Ranger was fined £6,000 by the FA for a homophobic comment made on social media website Twitter. In November last year, Ranger was fined £3,300 after admitting a charge of drinking and driving.
Toon authorities have reportedly warned Ranger several times about his off field antics – and it would now seem that a career on Tyneside has been wasted.
The magpies signed Ranger from Southampton in 2008. The player is contracted to NUFC until 2016.

Wouldn't put it past him getting nicked down there now he can hit the town centre on a night out!
