Trying desperately to claim that their season has been a success. Now, I know that there'll be those on here who won't, and don't, give a shiny shite about Liverpool but it's just one of them stories that I've read online this morning that has boiled my blood enough for me to hit my keyboard with my fingers hoping something legible comes out....But by Christ, how any self-respecting Scouser (oxymoron) can hold the assumption that this season has been a successful one is beyond me. One League Cup (which, aside from the fact that I would love to win it) victory over a Championship side who were by far the better team on the day glossing over the F.A. Cup Final humping off Chelsea, who have one eye on Munich, and an 8th place finish. The horrible blind fucker.

When the Carling Cup is your only success in an otherwise poor season, you are clearly on the way down and its a fail.
