Makes some good points.

How anyone can harp on about Liverpool is beyond me. They're regularly 3-4,000 below capacity.

Wonder how many would have been there had our home form been a mirror of Boro's.

Tend to ignore the press as just writing shite. That way the bad stuff doesn't bother me but I don't get carried away or agree with the good. Bird came across as a bit sycophantic to me.

also wonder if the team would be sitting so pretty if they hadn't had the support they've had from the fans

I can give Bird a few more facts he can throw in.

First club in the world to average 10,000 20,000 & 30,000 gates. Only club in world to average 50,000+ crowds in their country's top two divisions.

Only club since Premiership began not to have a league crowd under 30,000 and that includes Manure

marvellous crowd Sunday, considering it was live on telly as well.

I always laugh when TV commentators speaking about the size of a crowd NEVER mention that their presence is affecting the gate.

Its like people on Coronation St never talking about Coronation St.

Or something.
