Ha ha - I'm not the only one you know!

It's funny like, me and the lads have met quite a few Toon fans at away games this season that we have never seen before.

Yet, when we've got talking to them they have been going for years and hardly missed any games.

Our support is that big that it is conceivable that there are pockets of mates who travel to all the games who you would never bump into.

There are of course the faces that everyone seems to know like;

The undertaker or the suit as some call him.

Scruffy Cliffy - haven't seem him for a long while, but bound to be still going

Keith Barrett - noisy fucker - until he got banned like!

That little cunt who sells badges outside the Labour club - what an annoying fucker if you are ever unlucky enough to be in his company - cause trouble in an empty room that lad - seen him on the end of a class right hook in Panionios, he went down about 5 flights of stairs - local coppers didn't want to get involved cos' the lad who hit him looked a right hard cunt.

Aye quite a few people I recognise, some that I have never spoke to or occassionally spoke to.

It's great following the Toon, bizzarely I still love it now, they can't knock it out of me - once it is in those veins it is there for life.

I might know that Paul by sight, but don't recognise the name

I got sat next to him once on a trip with the Shields Branch in the KK days - thankfully it was only a short trip.

God he stank!

Lucian, how is Keith taking it then - it would fucking kill me not been able to go.

Aye Lucian, he was Toon daft - angry with Ashley and protesting was his only crime - did he get into an argument and chin some charva cunt at Hull - or at least that's what I heard.

Me being the conspiracy theorist, wouldn't put it past Ashley to have paid someone to wind him up, after the Cockney mafia flag walk around St. James'.

His mate who helped him on that walk around still drinks at the bar in the labour club like.

Was saying the exact same thing to my Brother at the time.

What happened to the bloke who confronted him at Hull and tried to drag the banner down? surely he should have been arrested as well.

Fucking disgrace - I wouldn't put it past it being an Ashley stitch up.

Tell him he's welcome back any time - this time of year he could put a santa suit on and get in!

Cliffy use to have an amazing mop of messy light hair.I had a poster of Gazza which had the Gallowgate end in the background.

All the supporters faces were blurred, but Cliffy's hair stood out a mile, used to laugh every time i looked at it.
