We can but hope.

Think we can discount the 2005/06 one mind...I think we may have got a bit lucky in that one if you catch my drift!

One thing that gets at me is statistics, maybe because I had a boss who threw them at me all the time, but what the fuck has this next game, any next game got to do with what happened in previous years/decades.

Different era, different players and a different game on the day.

A waste of printing space in my opinion.

Incredibly overrated manager. Can't fault him for his rare intelligence and "couldn't give a fuck" attitude with the media, but precisely because he is good with the media is the reason he gets such a good press.

Shame really, as I like to hear him fuck about with the press. But his impact on the Boro side speaks volumes to be frank (and ernest).Big Grin

Bloody Hell Vic,

You mention that every 1 if 5 threads.

I reckon you must be on a 60% strike rate for mentioning statistics.

I think he's a decent enough manager for clubs like Southampton etc.

I think the trouble he's having at Boro is, the players are really really shit.

how many players did boro let go when they came down?

It'd be interesting to put in perspective how Hughton is doing compared to two more experienced managers
