RE: Injurys are kicking in.

I still see us as getting a very comfortable top 10 finish, my prediction of 7th place stands.

Man City,
Man Utd,
Chelsea,
Arsenal,
Spurs,
Liverpool,
Newcastle.

That's the way I see it. Our starting 11 hasn't been improved but it hasn't been weakened either. Bigi, Amalfitano and especially Anita so far look like good back up. Taylor returning and Marveaux being fully fit are a boost too.

Our squad in general is slightly better, though the injury to Raylor is a concern. Anita can comfortably fill in at either FB position as well as CM so hopefully Raylor wont be missed too much.

This window has to be seen as a mssed oppertunity but it's not a complete disaster.

They're jammy feckers, I don't think their squad is really any better than ours but they've won trophies with shit teams before which is why I have them above us.

RE: Injurys are kicking in.

How many players did we have out injured last season compared to previous seasons? I have this feeling that there were a lot less than usual. I wonder if training and the way we play is putting less strain on things like hamstrings and that. I remember under Souness we'd have 5 or 6 constantly on the treatment table for niggly little problems that I attributed to the way we were playing as it had players constantly stretching from a standing start.

Thing is, when I mentioned on here the need for another striker and suggested Carroll, nearly everyone threw their hands up in horror about how would this affect Ba and Cisse (and even Gutierrez!). Hee hee hee!

I hope so. Anita and Bigirimana our best players. I'd find room for Marveaux and Vucik too.
