Rovers sacked Henning Berg yesterday after 57 days at the helm and a run of one win in 10 matches that leaves the pre-season promotion favourites 17th in the table heading into tomorrow's trip to Barnsley.

Assistant manager Eric Black, first team coach Iain Brunskill and goalkeeping coach Bobby Mimms were also dismissed and reports emerged this morning that Singh took Friday training alongside Judan Ali - a novice coach with experience limited to youth and amateur level and the star of Bollywood football movie 'Dhan Dhan Dhan Goal'.

Singh quashed rumours that Ali was set to take up a position at Ewood Park, insisting his presence at Blackburn's Brockhall Village training base was that of a guest despite television footage of the 39-year-old wearing club training kit.

RE: God Bless Blackburn/Shebby Singh

I'm loving the total circus that is Blackburn recently. Not only because they've spectacularly snatched that title from us, not only because I work with a fiercely loyal Blackburn fan who is ripping the hair out of his head on a daily basis, not only because I've been to shitty little Ewood Park a few times and have come away hating the town, fans and ground, but because they were screaming for Steve Kean's head for a long time and they got what they asked for.....an even worse Manager who keeps the clubs relegation-ambition right in line and then gets the boot for a Bollywood star.

Fabulous.

Hasn't the Barnsley manager been sacked as well? They'll all be running around like headless chickens.

Hopefully this the start of a new trend that ends up with us having Jenna Jameson as manager.

It'd put a different slant on 3 up front and 4 at the back formation.

It would stiffen up our defence anyway.
