Colo looked good

Thought he had a good game today. Certainly didn't play like someone desperate to leave.

I hope he stays until at least the end of the season.

RE: Colo looked good

I only saw the second half but he seemed better than he has lately.

perhaps it might have done him good to get it out in the open.

Thought Martin Keown's comment on Football Focus interesting though - Newcastle just shouldn't let him go. We stood by him with massive wages for a long time etc. Will be interesting how NUFC react to all of this. I just hope Pardew manages to sweet talk him enough to last till end of the season any way. We need him.

I'm sure in the next few days parsnip will trot out "getting colo's head right is like a new signing"

Sigh.

He was canny like - very professional display I believe they call it. Apparently his wife was coming back to Newcastle in next few days so hopefully they can sort out whatever it is that has gone on (she's ill apparently).

If not, and she has to go home then we can't begrudge him wanting to be with his family.

RE: Colo looked good

Colo looked steady away but then again they offered very little upfront.

Still think he is fucking brilliant like. He very seldom panics, reads the game very well and usually plays the simple ball to get out of danger. He is class.

And I still get a bit excited when once in a while he pushes up the field and looks like he might have a dig at goal.

Usually he goes up there for a set piece, and we'll the less said about them the better

We haven't scored one since Demba Ba scored away at Wolves in October 2011. Lush hot day I recall.

What about the 1st equaliser against arse at xmas? Wiltshire turned like a big girlie and went in off him, not that it wouldn't have gone in anyway mind.
