Ben Arfa

Apparently French news are reporting that Benny's issued a come and get me type interview to PSG. Hope this is another 'misquoted' interview.

RE: Ben Arfa

It is. He said he's staying her until the summer anyway but that if they bud in the summer joining them would be a childhood dream. He said its a big if though.

RE: Ben Arfa

Newcastle midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has admitted that it would be a 'childhood dream' to sign for French side Paris St Germain.

Ben Arfa, who is currently in France as he recovers from a hamstring injury, grew up following the Paris club - and has admitted that a return to Ligue 1 with the Champions League side would be a very attractive opportunity.
However, the former Lyon and Marseille playmaker has pledged not to leave the Magpies until after helping them avoid relegation this season.

"I am under contract with Newcastle and I'm fine," Ben Arfa said, in an interview with Le Parisien. "First, I must save my club. I only think of that. Help my team and my coach, with whom I get along great. We really want to fight for him.

"The fans are great too. Once we have saved the club, you never know. To sign for PSG would be a childhood dream. If there is a proposal, I will study it with interest.

"If there is a proposal. The 'if' is important."

I wouldn't worry too much about it - it's no different to the stuff Shearer came out with before he joined. He's from Paris - a one club city much like Newcastle. It's not exactly a "come and get me" plea - just saying that he'd love to play for his boy hood club if he was given the chance.

The transfer window in general is quite quiet so far, no huge deals in the making and those pesky journo's have to sell a magazine or paper and get clicks on the websites.

Forums.
Where no lies are written.
In the interview he never said 'come and get me'.
He was asked about PSG. And he replied.
Crossan translated it without an agenda to write headlines.
Something the tabloids do the opposite of.
