Sir Goldenballs

Sir Ian Botham

Wonderful english cricketer and arguably our greatest sportsman of the 20th Century
Amazing Ambassador for the country
Huge amount of time and effort given to Charity

Occasional dodgy headline

Received a Knighthood in his 50s

A puddle of Botham's piss is more worthy of a knighthood than Beckham

Carter's, who/ what do you class as "Sir material"? Only asking after the comment you made.

"to be honest he seems like a genuine bloke but he's certainly not Sir material"

And he put that Gobshite Ian Chappell on his arse, which is worth a knighthood alone.

Mark Allison ran the length of Great Britain, ran across the USA and is currently making his way across Australia for charity and he's not a professional sportsman. He's just doing it. Where's his knighthood?

This should be national news in my opinion.

So far as I am concerned, once that old washed up charlatan Bruce Forsyth got a knighthood, not forgetting Jimmy Savile, helping an old lady across the road should be enough for us all to have one. But given that sportsmen get them, Beckham warrants it as much as any of them I suppose.
