£100m to compete...fucking hate that line, the season we finished 5th, how much did we spend? A few extra mil that summer and we'd have hopefully pushed on, that is his single biggest fuck up IMO, who knows where we'd be now if we capitalised on having European football and not seen it as a wasted exercise

Been said many times now we have no depth, first team is ok and should "compete" most games but a few injuries and we're fucked, surely a few subs don't cost £100, or a decent striker. Hope he does fuck off to rangers mind

The irony is that the first team has been put together on a relative shoestring...more of the same as cover still wouldn't break the bank

Two or three players would see us top 7 no problem. Don't need wholesale changes.

Get shot of that prick Taylor and bring in another 4th choice CB as that's what Taylor is now.

taylors not that bad

hes far better than Willo and MBya has only had 2 decent games here so hes hardly consistent

just because hes daft as a brush doesnt make him shite

like many other before him, put him next to a good partner like Colo and he looks great

He's a liability in my opinion - the Man City game summed him up perfectly. You've just got away with giving away a penalty, and then 30 seconds later, still fresh in the mind of the ref, you make what the ref could very easily (and did) see it as a red card.

There are too many other incidents to mention but he's just more trouble than he's worth. I don't really think he's any better than Williamson. Probably on par, but he gets on with the job quietly and there's never any pissing around with contracts like you get with Taylor.

Things like that tweet the other day do none of us any favours. Although I don't think ii was racist as such, it was just daft.

Taylor is one of those players that seems to have regressed in recent seasons. At one point he looked like that rarity of rarities; a decent centre back that carried a goal threat.

But for whatever reason he's gone soft in the head. He's always been a bit of a dick, but with other stronger personalities around him he kept himself in check. Now I reckon he's taking this whole "joker in the dressing room" thing a bit far and its creeping onto the pitch. Its like he feels its his own personal responsibility to gee gee the players (and unfortunately us) up, and it leads to the kind of regular stupidities on the pitch we could do without.

If he focused more on concentrating and less on playing to the gallery then he'd be solid, but these days I just wait for him to drop a massive bollock.

Always remember Titus being similar, when along side woodgate he seemed decent but without that influence he became .... Erm .... Titus!
