Pardew on replacing Cabaye

“It’s fair to say that the transfer made it harder to qualify for Europe – and I don’t think anyone would disagree with that – because we couldn’t replace him.” “But that doesn’t mean to say we can’t replace him in the summer.”

“We know we have got good players here, but we do need that controller of the ball, that maneuverer, that clever player, and we will get one in the summer, for sure.”

Can these words be forced down the blokes throat come September if and when we dont deliver?

RE: Pardew on replacing Cabaye

We are asking for trouble if we don't buy a creative midfielder or two.

As of next season, the Europa winners get a CL place and am pretty sure the CL drop outs dont just tumble down into the competition once eliminated.

Should make it a much better competition.

That makes it much better
Something to play for! About time they sorted it out.

As for the cabaye replacement we'll probaby see cabella or some other foreigner we'll not know too much about. Lets just hope whoever it is turns out to be as good as cabaye Smile
