Erm it's in Liverpools hands. No one elses. It is theirs to throw away.

If they dont lose a match then there is nothing anyone can do about them winning the title.

RE: Liverpool v City

Having just scanned the comments section of that match in the guardian online.....well let's just say that it's a handy reminder of everything I despise about Liverpool fans ans why it's unsupportable that they win it. If they're like this now, they'll be absolutely intolerable should they actually pull this off.

The only positive about this is the level of crushing despair they'll experience should Chelsea dick them. They're having a competition on the guardian as to who cried the most tears yesterday, who loves Steven Gerrard more, and who was the most prescient in spotting that Brendan Rodgers was title winning calibre years ago, who is now the Alex Ferguson of Northern Ireland.

They've picked out the bus they want already, and some loon wants the fa to donate the prem trophy to the families of Hillsborough and have a new one knocked up for next year.

Like I say. Fucking unbearable.

RE: Liverpool v City

This the thing with them, they can't just be happy to win the fucking thing, they've got to make sure how every fucker else knows how much they deserve to win it, and we've all got to acknowledge their fucking worthiness, and their suffering, and we have to recognise that they're different, and on another level, and just plain old more fucking special than every other set of fans going.

If they win it, we will never, ever, fucking ever, hear the end of it. Yesterday I heard a pundit musing out loud on what he called "the Hillsborough factor" in maintaining their push, and you just know that this is going to be how SKY will be selling this. I've not seen a propaganda machine this effective outside of North Korea.

Daily Mail are joining in the dipperthon, and telling us that we all want them to win it. This is one of the replies in the comments section:

I know a certain Umberto Verula wouldn't want Liverpool to win anything. Who's Umberto? He was born in Turin the 26 april 1974, died in Brussels the 29 May 1985.

Personally I'd like Liverpool to win it, not because it is Liverpool but because it is anyone other than one of the super rich clubs who have splashed money about like it is going out of fashion. It would be nice to see Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd etc not win it.

To be fair it could be any team though, I'm not that arsed who..
