Absolutely ridiculous that Joselu keeps starting. Don't actually know what he's good at. Doesn't close down much, can't hold it up, definitely can't score. Rafas grudge against Mitro has cost us this game. A set piece would have won it and much preferred Mitro there than Joselu. The ball is more likely to stick with Mitro holding it up.

He baffles me sometimes rafa

It's ridiculous. Joselu for Perez and the tide turned in their favour. That sub cost us the game.

Rafa deserves criticism.

There were suggestions when he was at Liverpool that he favours Spanish players and will always play them no matter what.

Agreed GL.....its difficult to blame the players as most of them are doing their best or exceeding expectations but when you have a bloke on the bench who is more proven in this league than the bloke on the pitch, you have to question the decision of the manager

Frustrating as fucking fuck

Deserved defeat..but Rafa Benitez is the best thing that has happened to this club for a long time.

If we had a Pardew or Mclaren in charge we would be where Palace are.

We obviously lack cutting edge up front and he has ostracised two of the better strikers in the club this season

He deserves his fair share of criticism for that

Of course he is...it's just he's been left with the pile he has to work with on account of the FCB.

Bollocks...how the fuck do you know what the situation is with mitrovic..and how come suddenly he's become Duncan Ferguson...he couldn't score in the championship so he's hardly going to put them away in the premiership is he ??

There is no sale. It's just a distraction and an excuse for no investment in January. 1st Feb the club will be off the market as "no serious buyers" came forward. Rafa will walk away, we'll get relegated and Ashley will be as happy as a pig in shite because Championship football costs less but because we're Newcastle we'll get more home games on TV so SD shite can be advertised for fuck all pounds and fuck all cunting pence.

We're fucked. We might as well all just OD tonight.

When did I say that ?? The manager obviously prefers joselu for whatever reason and that's all that matters.

The problem is mitovic is he's a liability.

Then again so is Shelvey.

He's definitely got his problems but I dont think Rafa is doing Joselu any favours at all by persisting with him at the minute...he has absolutely no confidence infront of goal whatsoever

Putting Murphy on was the strange one for me...kid has absolutley no confidence whatsoever..and we were playing alot of long balls with Gayle upfront..Mitrovic seemed the obvious sub.

I was a bit disappointed that the players went straight down the tunnel..only Elliot came and clapped the fans.

Ayoze Perez serves no purpose in this team except he runs a bit. We've lacked a cutting edge but I'm baffled by what Joselu brings that Mitro doesn't.

The kids done some stupid things but he deserves a shot over the Joselu who looks dopier than Titus Bramble

Missed this one before......Carters man, Ive said time and time again that Benitez is a fantastic manager and we are lucky to have him here but that wont stop me from calling it as I see it

Considering Rafas reputation for rotating his squad it makes it all the more baffling that he sticks by a striker who isnt scoring

The plain and simple truth is Gayle, Joselu, Mitro and Perez are all shit, that's not Rafas fault, he can only play with the cards he's dealt with.....deal with it.

Aye but Mac Rafa has gone on record saying he'll walk away from the job if he gets overly criticised on this forum. If he leaves any potential new owners will pull out a deal because they simply won't be capable of appointing another world class manager.

Fair does Liam but Joselu and Perez look like the weaker partnership than Gayle and Mitro

Today was crying out for Mitro in my opinion......pointless taking up a place on the bench if hes no intention of playing him
