A Big Thank You..

We said it on Christmas Eve and we’ll say it again: Geordies you’ve been sensational this season. The support you give your team is unrivaled and the support you’ve extended to us has been incredibly generous and gratefully received.

See you in 2018! ?

RE: A Big Thank You..

awwww seen as people are in a new years eve mood type thing, i will post my own tribute to the occasion (one had typed it earlier ladies and gentlemen when one was soberer).....Bournemouth, Swansea and Palace all getting results, have to say Palace were absolutely magnificent against Citeh as were their fans who never stopped singing from the first whistle to the last, credit where it's due. Thankfully that point yesterday guarantees we wont start the new year in the bottom three even if the Baggies beat Arsenal 77-0.

So another year over and the future of NUFC still hanging in the balance, as usual we look to the future with hope in our hearts that our great club can be rescued from the horrendous ten years we have suffered under Mike Ashley, a new owner who can match the ambition of Rafa Benitez and the fans and can see the potential, I am confident that the days in the '90s under Sir John and Keegan when they called us "the entertainers" can return again with the kind of investment in players that Man City have enjoyed in recent years. So keep on dreaming.

It's not been easy with two relegations, god knows how many managers, awful imposters like Llambias, Wise and Kinnear screwing everything up with their total incompetence, the renaming of the stadium, Wonga, the SportsDirect branding stamped all over our beautiful stadium and so on and so forth, many would be forgiven for thinking stuff this for a game of soldiers, which leads me ever so nicely into my final words of 2017, in the words of good old Henry V "Once more unto the breach dear friends...once more".

Have a good evening folks, thanks so much for welcoming me to your smashing forum (not), take care of yourselves and I'll see you next year. Wink
