England v Croatia

Never thought i'd be this nervous about an England game..all the meaningless friendlies and boring qualifiers.

I've been quite vocal on here about being bored with England in the past, but this team and manager and of course the situation we find ourselves in has really got me back into it.

I remember crying my eyes out when we lost to Germany in 96, but since about the turn of the millenium i had pretty much lost interest in England for whatever reason, the fire is back now though and i am glad about it.

Would still rather Newcastle win on the opening day than England win the World Cup but ye kna..i want both Wink

Come on England.

Of our midfield can keep Luka from dominating, we should win. Beating France will be tough, but step by step.

Whilst I'm delighted up to now. Pick ford has to stop playing chicken with the Croatian forwards and pick the ball up now and again instead of kicking it?

Lovren should have had a pen last few seconds as well!

He can't pick the ball up from a back pass bri which is where our players are putting him under pressure with sloppy back passes

Think we've fucked this up now. Too much fucking about. Too much passing it backwards and inviting them onto us. When they started pressing we were rattled.

Fenwick's window will remain empty this year.

Midfield getting dominated. Need to get to penalties! Unless we have more set piece magic, don't see where a goal is going to come from.

Cracking first 60 mins
Shocking second 60 mins

They deserved it, we only had one shot on goal.

A lack of plan B let us down at the final hurdle.

Harry Kane is not fit.

Banker for next World Cup.

Well done England. overall A-
