In all seriousness I think it could work. The club would be self sufficient on tv money and gate receipts. Evidently no knight in shining armour is coming to a our rescue so it’s going to need to be something left field. Newcastle United Fans Club. If it doesn’t work, give the money back. There will be the expertise in the crowd. Accountants and lawyers to get the deal done. All you’d need as a Kenton type to run it.

Properly managed with competitive sponsorship deals, rather that being used as a sports direct billboard, it should be self sufficient. The problem is over the last few years despite promises, the club hasn’t been allowed to invest the money in generates and Ashley has been taking money out. As I say, no wealthy individual or individual seem interested. In 10 years there’s been 3 offers.
