It's assumed they can buy anyone but let's see

He's got sensible people round him. They'll want to know what's happening with the club.

If there are any incomings/outgoings, or a new manager is appointed, we can abandon all hope of a sale, until then there is still a tiny bit of hope.

If they had £30m on the table they'd take it.

No doubt at all.

RE: Longstaff

Indeed,..my point was he's not a billybig bollocks like sterling for example , seems the type to just get his head down and keep grafting and wait for the megabuck move to a top club to happen , which it will eventually, he's that good

Shut it You mug...you clearly forget how desperate he was to escape from the dippers at a very young age and get his nose in the big bucks trough and be amongst the top earners, ...that's my point

Not for Liverpool he didn't, Thats my point man, he wanted the big money at a very young age, longstaff doesn't come across as that type.

I hope that simplifies it for you.... Smile

RE: Longstaff

He showed ambition, a determination to succeed, he's one of England's finest, obviously not motivated at Liverpool but unless you are in the know you're clutching at straws

Why sterling , why didn't you suggest Carrol or Gascoigne

RE: Longstaff

I chose sterling simply because of his acting like a huffy spoilt child in order to get his move, for being a greedy little Bastard at such a tender age,....that stuck in mind, so kindly apologise for that accusation of racism , thanks

Different all together and you know It, sterling was offered £100k a week as a 20yr old kid at a very ambitious club, didn't want to know, wanted more...greedy little shit

I think the fact he's got 2 league winners medals justifies his move. And he's developed as a player

RE: Longstaff

without a doubt his move to man city has worked out well, but thats not the issue here tino, he clearly showed quality from a young age which is why benitez signed him as a 16yr old, he has a lot of ability but to me until guardiola rocked up at citeh the kid was very inconsistent and always had a shit attitude, pelligrini largely allowed him to get away with it, but pep basically gave him the ultimatum "play well in every game or you're on the fucking bench because i have plenty of talented players chomping at the bit to nick your place you greedy, spoilt little cunt"....obviously i'm paraphrasing but it was something like that and did him the world of good.

But the fact remains that he was born in jamaica so has zero affinity to either liverpool or citeh.........so the only reason he demanded a move to citeh at 20 years of age was (i'll spell it out) THEY....OFFERED....HIM....MORE ...FUCKING....MONEY!!!

So all am saying is that Longstaff doesnt seem the type to be so demanding even though he's about the same age as sterling was then...........yes its a short career and blah blah, but i just felt sterling was very disrespectful to liverpool who had offered him a huge amount of money for a kid of his age.
