That's how Ashley does it, When he was Interviewed on Sky, making his, 'Rafa can have every penny generated' statement, it wasn't transfer money, it was transfer plus wages money he was talking about...

RE: time for Some answers

we may have some answers according to the times......what a fuck up. Rolleyes

"Newcastle United are to begin the search for a new manager after accepting that Rafa Benítez will not extend his three-year stay at St James’ Park beyond the end of this month.

With the Spaniard’s contract at Newcastle expiring on June 30, no fresh talks have been arranged and, as things stand, he will leave Tyneside. Benítez will not work under Mike Ashley, the owner, with trust eroded beyond repair and this summer’s takeover saga delaying negotiations and muddying a complicated picture.

Newcastle have long maintained that they have not given thought to who could replace Benítez, but there is no realistic prospect of the 59-year-old remaining, despite his close bond with supporters and his desire to stay."

RE: time for Some answers

Statement has been issued, Rafa is going when his contract is up.

It is with disappointment that we announce manager Rafael Benítez will leave Newcastle United upon the expiry of his contract on 30th June 2019.

We have worked hard to extend Rafa’s contract over a significant period of time, however it has not been - and will not be - possible to reach an agreement with Rafa and his representatives.

Rafa’s coaching staff, Paco de Míguel Moreno, Antonio Gómez Pérez and Mikel Antia, will also leave the club on 30th June.

We would like to thank Rafa and his coaching team for their efforts over the last three years and their significant contribution to what has been collectively achieved.

We would also like to thank our supporters, players and staff for their patience during a period of uncertainty.

The process to appoint a successor will now begin

There is fuck all we can do bar stop going to games and lining his pockets. I rarely go to home games anyway too far might do the odd London game. With Rafa gone and the fat controller at the helm see no point. I will still want the team to win having said this no matter who is the manager.

Or it's done but they want their own man.

That's the only hope left.

RE: time for Some answers

It shows that Benitez is more ambitious than Ashley, and i question how many of the players hes coached will still be here in september

i think the thw club will struggle to get the momentum to strengthen the squad given as one player arrives another will leave.

and we all know theyll take ManUs money for Longstaff, its too tempting for him not to

I'm not surprised he's rejected a zero hours contract and only being allowed to go to the bog in official break.s

I am proud of Rafa telling the club to get fucked like, as much as it hurts just now.

He has 100% done the right thing.

RE: time for Some answers

The question was could Mike Ashley possibly change, today's events have shown he can't and wont.... Rafa wanted to take the club forward and give the fans the football team they deserve, Mike wanted things to stay exactly as they are, minimal investment, cups not a priority, only signing young players to sell on at a profit, and finishing 17th is the only target, any higher is a bonus... The misery continues
