31% possession. Away from home. With 10½ men. Things are looking up.

"You would say this could get embarrassing for Newcastle, but they've already hired Steve Bruce to replace Rafa Benitez, so I'm not sure embarrassment is a thing for them anymore."

I think that was blaming the appointment of Bruce.

I'm just talking about in general - Bruce will just become the new Pardew

Deflecting blame and attention from where it should be focused

It’s terrible to watch I think it probably was a red card in today’s non contact game we just fucking gave up. I am not sure if I can stand this week in week out but there again you can’t legislate for an owner like we have. It was utter dross 2nd half. Going down to 10 didn’t help but to just give up in painful to watch. We have all seen this before and it doesn’t end well as a rule.

Probably a red card? It was dangerous and stupid. We were up against a top Premiership team and don't need people doing idiotic things like that.

Surely it's time to give Matty Longstaff a go. Ki was poor. It was the making of Sean Longstaff when Rafa had no choice but to play him. Dodgy

What? Singing and dancing like nothing is the matter, fake defiance so they can pat each other on the back?

It's just a day out on the piss, if they are bothered about the club they wouldn't even be there.

If Hayden hadn't been sent off we could have had Maximin coming on from the bench.

Anyone see the interviewer patting Brewcy on the back.

'Poor ol Steve Bruce' is the media narrative.

Wankers.

Maximin can't stay fit thanks to Steve's conditioning methods, just tells them to run more, that'll do it.

We’ll never know so it’s a stupid comment.

What I saw was a player get sent off and the remaining 10 just jack it in.
